Patient in next bed had three visitors. None had booked. COVID risk.
Had surgery at 4pm Sunday, doctor tried to send me home at 7pm. With no physio, no instructions for leg brace.
After care is terrible, neither of my review appts were booked. I had to chase both of them.
By the way. I don't "identify" with being a man. I AM a man.
Very good.
All staff went out of their way to help me.
Whilst staying at Addenbrookes to help my daughter who was receiving surgery for scholiosis, I cannot fault the service provided by the staff. They were incredibly supportive and We felt that we were in very safe hands.
During the time I was staying on PICU and the children's ward the nurses were very kind and helpful. They were there to answer any questions I had and made feel very safe during my stay. They were always chatty and happy and I think that made me feel better as a patient. They were always consistent on giving me medicine and check ups, so I always felt like I was in good hands. I am very grateful for the nurses and how much hard work they put in everyday.
Based on the outcome of my operations I consider Addenbrookes to be one of the best hospitals in the world. In addition, the post-operative care and monitoring is second to none. NHS you are truly amazing.
Thank you for your help and care. I am very pleased .. Regards Thomas.
I have had treatments at this hospital previously for cancer. The care that I received was excellent throughout my stay.
This hospital will forever remain in my heart. The nurses, doctors, caterers, porters, and all who work there are incredible people to be doing what they do.
I received excellent care at the pre-assessment appointment, checking in at the treatment centre and the surgery. Overall I couldn’t fault my experience as a patient, I had a great surgical team, the two nurses in the recovery room who attended to me and the staff on the ward.
